The experience and intuition of Rami Khalifé and Aymeric Werstrich come together with Francesco Tristano (one of the most renowned pianists of his generation and the youngest performer to record Bach’s famous Goldberg Variations) to explore their shared attraction for unlimited experimentation. Aufgang imbibe a vast range of influences (from Fluxus to house music) and are guided by improvisation, to develop an original language, halfway between acoustics and electronica, which defies all known labels in a constantly evolving amalgam. The result is organic experimentation with 2 pianos and a drummer, governed by the musical prodigy who is Francesco Tristano.
