Cristian Subirà (Summer Recreation Camp) and Simon Williams (Jahbitat) played together for the first time when Cristian's band (Coconot, with El Guincho and Jens Neumaier of 12Twelve) invited Simon to participate in a special concert in the summer of 2008. During the rehearsals for that occasion, they both realised that they were exploring common ground in the sonic creation process. In their own words, "it's as if Les Aus, Terry Riley and Lucky Dragons were dancing around the fire at a party in the middle of the country, where Four Tet is playing indigenous songs recorded by Gang Gang Dance and remixed by Brian Eno". They will be accompanied at Sónar 2010 by the Canadian artist Mike Swaney and the No-Domain visuals team, creating and projecting visuals in real time.
